About Us

Battery-system engineering and contract assembly

Prime Energy helps customers move from concept and prototype through validation and repeatable contract assembly—using sealed cells and components supplied for each program.

Troy, Michigan · Engineering, testing, and small-batch assembly

Application-specific energy storage, built around customer-supplied cells

Prime Energy engineers, tests, and contract-assembles modules, packs, and ancillary energy-storage systems around customer-supplied, sealed cells. We do not manufacture cells or modify internal battery chemistry.

From first-article packs to repeatable contract assembly, the work stays in modules, packs, and ancillary systems—packaging, interconnects, thermal strategy, testing, and process control.

2015

Garage beginnings

Prime Energy started with late-night prototypes—working around the limits of off-the-shelf battery systems rather than treating them as finished products.
